Author

When his first grade teacher encouraged Lee to learn the differences between poetry and prose, she had no idea the monster she was creating. His first published poetry appeared in middle school poetry zines, followed by street artists anthologies, collections at his college, then turned to his own early publications (of both poetry and photojournalism inspired prose) in University as part of his BA from Evergreen State College.

Lee now has a variety of published and unpublished work that has filtered out across the world in book, short story, magazine article, poetry, video and audio interview and prose form. He loves provoking individuals into thinking for themselves, while helping those who are already thinking for themselves adventure into the more challenging corners of their own being. The veil between his work as a visual artist and as an author is oftentimes blurred, and he likes it that way.

Poetry, Prose and Fiction

Lee began writing poetry as a child, and was never told to stop... so he hasn't. Over the years his styles have morphed from short line freestyle to bardic rhyming cadence to unpunctuated prose, back to surrealist cut-line poetry and back to short line freestyle... and it still continues to evolve-- punctuated by adventures in modern horror/fantasy short fiction, long tracks of creative pornography, and the occasional songwriting or ritual script downloads from the divine.

Journal

Lee has kept an online journal since 1998, and moved it to LiveJournal
(passionandsoul) in 2003. The back logs can still be found if you scroll back though, so enjoy. His journal is his own, so be forewarned that it ranges in content from emotional drama to class or event announcements, medical updates to explicit sexual tales, photography of his world journeys to pictures of nude humans in bondage. He usually put images containing breasts or lower genitalia of any shape behind LJ cuts.
